New School boundary options approved by Little League
If your child attends the following schools, you are eligible to register in our league:
Rhodes, Summit, Crismon,
Franklin Alma, Washington, Adams, Roosevelt, Pomoroy, Sirrine or Jordan.
No COMPOSITE bats - unless approved by Little League Waiver process!!
Little League has issued an advisory that many composite bats are not safe for play in Little League. They will not be allowed to be used so do not purchase them. (Many stores are offering HUGE discounts on them). For more info, visit the District website at www.azd7.com

Little League Parent Orientation Program
The Little League Parent Orientation Program was created in 2001 to better educate Little League parents regarding the purpose of the Little League program. We know that the vast majority of parents at Little League events conduct themselves properly, said Stephen D. Keener, president and chief executive officer of Little League Baseball and Softball. "Thankfully, there are only a few who do not understand that the enjoyment of children is the goal of Little League. The Little League Parent Orientation Program gives our local league volunteers advice on the best way to handle those situations when a parents behavior gets out of hand.
The Parent Orientation Program is available online
as a resource for any visitor to the Little League web site. To view the presentation, click on the headline above.
The presentation includes the Youth Sports Parent Code of Conduct, the Little League Pledge and the Little League Parent/Volunteer Pledge, and many other features.
Little League Child Protection Program
Stephen D. Keener, president and chief executive officer of Little League, appeared on CNN Headline News to explain the newest phase of the Little League Child Protection Program.
All local Little Leagues are now required to conduct background checks on Managers, Coaches, Board of Directors members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the league and/or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players or teams.
Individuals are also required to complete and submit a Little League Volunteer Application to their local league.
